IAV Engineering developed the Arfang infrasound acoustic direction finder system in 1997.
Following feasibility studies with LEMA-EPFL in Anzère from 1994, then on the Bonneval-sur-Arc (F) and Taesch-Zermat (CH) experimental sites, the Arfang automatic avalanche detection system continues to be developed and integrated as an operational system.
