In partnership with ABB, LEI-EPFL, CREE and CTI, IAV Engineering developed a modular DSP controller dedicated to actively reducing noise from electric power transformers.
Coming after the LEMA-EPFL feasibility study that demonstrated the efficacy of active noise reduction in power transformers, developments in progress concern the system's integration in industry and development of an on-site acoustic cartography technique that allows optimal pre-design and positioning of anti-noise actuators.
